It's Crystal clear - Dover port of choice for luxury cruise lines!

The Port of Dover played host to the luxury cruise industry this weekend with industry representatives and the travel trade visiting some of the world's most luxurious cruise ships.  Ships in port included the Crystal Serenity, Crystal Symphony and Star Legend.

Crystal Cruises is consistently voted the world's leading luxury cruise line and is a regular caller at Dover Cruise Port.  On Saturday, Crystal Serenity was in port at the end of its 25th Anniversary President's Cruise.  Hosting the cruise was the President and CEO of Crystal Cruise Line, Edie Rodriquez.

On Sunday, Edie Rodriquez was one of the keynote speakers at the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA UK & Ireland) Luxury Cruise Expo hosted by the Port of Dover.

Joining the Expo on Monday was the yacht-like, Star Legend, of Windstar Cruises.  A regular caller at the Port of Dover, Windstar Cruises is another of the cruise industry's six star operators, offering passengers the very height of luxury.

With two dedicated cruise terminals, Dover is the leading cruise port in the south east of England.  Its stunning location, offering impressive views of the White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle make it a popular port-of-call for luxury cruise lines on northern European and round-Britain itineraries.
