A sneak peek inside Dover's new Cineworld!

The cameras have been allowed inside for a sneak peek at Cineworld's multiplex cinema at the St James development in Dover.  With six screens and seating capacity for 909 people the new cinema will transform the leisure offer in Dover as part of the £53m redevelopment of the key town centre site.  The largest screen has seating capacity for 237 people, and three of the screens will be able to show films in 3D.

Kelly Drew, Operations Director for Cineworld, said: "Being in Dover within the St James development is perfect for us, combining the leisure and retail together. The new Dover Cineworld offers a great place to watch the movies with the latest sound technology and comfortable stadium seating with a great view form every seat!"

Luke Admans, Cineworld Dover General Manager, comments: “We’re really excited to be part of St James Retail and Leisure Park and to be opening our doors to the local community.  We aim to provide the best viewing experience and I don’t think anyone will be disappointed! We have an exciting line-up of films coming up, from Fifty Shades Freed, Black Panther and I, Tonya – we have something for everyone!”

Candy King pick ‘n’ mix and Baskin Robbins ice cream counters, as well as a selection of alcoholic beverages, will also be available at the cinema, which is set to launch in February in time for audiences to get their pulses racing with the next instalment of the Fifty Shades saga, Fifty Shades Freed and Marvel’s superhero blockbuster, Black Panther.

Cinema fans can indulge in a range of offers at Cineworld Dover including weekly discounted Movies for Juniors screenings for just £2.50 on Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays, as well as Student NUS discount. The cinema is also available for private venue hire.
