Carnival time as ‘Fun Ship’ returns to Dover!
Carnival Cruise Line is setting course for Dover in both 2020 and 2021 as the popular US “fun ship” operator returns to Northern Europe.
The 2,000 passenger, Carnival Legend, sets sail from the Port of Dover twice in 2020, returning for Carnival’s most extensive European season in 2021 with a programme of nine cruises from Dover to the Norwegian Fjords, Scandinavia Russia and the Baltic, Iceland and British Isles, Western Europe and the Mediterranean.
“For Carnival Legend, we’ve assembled our most diverse season ever with opportunities to visit an array of breathtaking sites across nearly two dozen countries, all combined with the one-of-a-kind vacation experience that Carnival is known for. It’s really the best way to see Europe,” said Fred Stein, Carnival’s vice president of revenue, deployment and itinerary planning.
Carnival Cruise Line is the most popular cruise brand in the US and operates a fleet of 25 ships. The company has been a regular caller at Dover in the past. Fleet mate, Carnival Splendor, was christened in Dover in 2008 by godmother, Myleene Klaas.
