GrowUp Farms is a £100-million vertical farming facility located at Discovery Park that began year-round growing operations in Spring 2023.
Vertical farming, using LEDs and hydroponics (and no pesticides), requires less water and space than traditional methods of growing food. It is a sector that is going from strength to strength in the UK, creating a more resilient and sustainable food system to feed the nation in a time of climate change.
