Public consultation on pre-application plans for former Connaught Barracks site
Dover Discovery Centre, Market Square, Dover, CT16 1PH
Friday, 14 November (12pm-4pm) and Saturday, 15 November (10am-3pm)
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is holding a public consultation and exhibition on its emerging proposals for the redevelopment of the former Connaught Barracks site in Dover.
The HCA plans for the first phase of the redevelopment propose up to 80 new homes in the Officers’ Mess area of the site. The pre-application consultation provides the local community with an opportunity to see the emerging proposals and to help inform the design process.
The plans for Connaught Barracks are in line with Dover District’s Council Adopted Core Strategy which identifies the site for residential development. The strategy calls for 10,100 homes to be built in the district by 2026.
This consultation is being led by the Homes and Communities Agency. Come along and see the plans for yourself at Dover Discovery Centre on Friday, 14 November (12pm-4pm) and Saturday, 15 November (10am-3pm).
